Brilliant! And would be delighted to stay there again for sure!
Fantastic room and facilities in the room. Superb view with balcony. Lovely view/walks around the hotel. Great entertainment in the evenings. Overall excellent!
All great really. However the person at reception when we arrived was quite unfriendly and checking us in seemed to be a bit of an unwanted task for him! Really not a good first impression. Thankfully all the other staff were excellent!

A great friendly run hotel with fabulous amenities and location with a view.
Fabulous location, the grounds well spread out with plenty of facilities. The breakfast was fantastic, something for everybody, amazing. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was so clean and fresh.
The gym needs more weights and more equipment and the inside pool needs better heating.

fabulous hotel in Funchal zlido
fabulous hotel. stunning locations especially the gardens. standard of service was exceptional. the selection at Atlinida resturant was really impressive. my room was very large and everything you couldvwish
it's very hard to fault anything. the only minor small thing was waiters in early morning at buffet speaking to each other over guests in south Asia language. but probably just get organised. but this is probably a training isdue

Our third visit to Porto Mare Hotel and we love the cleanliness and available facilities.
Superb Buffett breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff throughout the hotel. Room cleanliness is excellent and the beds and furnishings are very comfy.
We had a junior suit and found the kitchenette a bit of a challenge. No instructions for using the microwave or hob. The hob didn’t work properly and had to be changed. This was done quickly. Unfortunately the fridge too seemed to have a problem and was running far too cold which meant our food was literally freezing.
